Recently my SRS airbag light has been coming on and staying on, just tonight I was coming home from work, started the car normaly, the SRS light came on then went back off again after about 2 seconds, then about 1/2 mile down the road the light came back on again and stayed on. I was told today by a mechanic that was in my shop that it could be the seat belt pre-tensioner. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to solve it?

could be either of the tensioners or the air bag (if you still have it fitted).
you could try wiggling all of the connections as peugeots suffer badly fromcruddy connections.
i would add not to be too close to any of the belts / airbag incase they go off - but being controlled by a mercury impact type switch it is unlikely, failing that it will need to be plugged in

i had it come on in mine once, the yellow connector had got loose. just took it out, put some contact spay on it and refitted it light has not come on since. worth checking the seatbelt ones too.
