Its only a maybe (havn't even spoken to dad about it yet) but Shelby may go for a new love.....

The Shell needs a square plate about 10cm x 10cm welding into the Off side inner wing, (Old bit already cut out).
And it also needs a penny sized hole welding yp which is above the passenger rear quarter, (Could be treated and filled)

Then you have a solid 1969 Mk2 Shell!

It has boxes of spares with it including the front and rear subframe, (Needs assembling) too much stuff to list. I have a 84 metro 1L engine on a subframe to go in it, that has 40,000 odd miles on it and runs sweet as. (The engine has a Hif 38 but i have a rebuilt Hs4 too).

Island reg. has the v5 and serval bits of paper work etc. I also have £100 in Mini Sapres Vouchers. (For some reason to buy them comes out at like £110?)

Cant think of anything else that needs mention atm so what you guys think price wise?

EDIT : Did forget too mention that it was originaly an Auto so the remote floor wants a plate and the new hole cut for the manual stick.

Ive found a new motor for £255 (eBay ad runs out in 5 hours!) but i have a price in mind for Shelby if not ill stick with her.

My price would coer the cost and any money ive spent on it excuding the little bit of welding we've had done.

Ok, looking at the pictures, and bearing in mind it needs trailering from the Isle of Wight ( Ouch ferry costs with a trailer) I would say its worth around £500, as is with all the bits

Ok thanks, unless i was to get an offer i'd rather keep to be honest. The main reason for considering all this was because a Mk1 Fiesta came up ... But My brother and Dad went halfs on buying the mini in the first place for £300 each, so if i was to sell id at least want to pay them back and cover any bits ive bought/been bought and have enough to pick up my bargin Ford.

That took me a minute... !

I really dont want to sell but its one or the other im afraid I have interest form a bloke near heathrow and Dad told me today that one of the blokes that work for him is interested too. I'll find out tommorw wether hes going to have it or not.

At leats this way i can still see her. (And as a bonus, hes got a Mk1 capri which is been voted last year as best condition/originality in the country! ) So i have no doubts it'll be superb once its done!

One day i will return to the fourm with a Van or estate, but we'll wait and see how that pans out!
