Just recently joined the forum, so i thought i would drop a few lines to introduce myelf. I'm from South-east Essex, and i have been interested in minis since i passed my test, and of course, my first car was a mini!! After owning quite a few minis over the years, and with a 15 year gap, i have bought another mini, ( 15 years absence was with an MGB Roadster!!)
Cheers, Graeme.

I like the rear mk1 bootlid, thats something else on my wish list, just had a couple of quotes to weld and paint up the holes on my bootlid, so i can move the mk2 bootbadge down and put on a mk1/2 hanging numberplate, and people want £150.00 just to do that!! anyway, great looking retro mk1 you have there, very envious!!

Hello, thanks for the comments, really like what you have done to your mini, looks excellent!!! looks like it must of taken some work to change its apperance, those seats look great, would love a set in my mini, but my funds probably wouldn't be able to stretch to getting a set of those, they look expensive!!!

Southender - great looking mini, liking the retro feel as well.
mk1leg, noticed you're on Jersey by your numberplate... I went to Jersey a few years back and saw loadsa mini's on the Island! Perfect for Jersey's winding narrow roads!
