here are some pictures when you put the back and front in the right place you end up with the wheel arch sitting about an inch above the proper wheel arch is this normal and the bit that curves round the valance seems to be completley the wrong shape thanks ross

Its normal to have a gap between the arch and the metal lip as shown on my arches , the arch will have a timy amount of give on it,i had to do this on mine to make them fit correctly.

When I trial fitted my Minisport group 2 wides they were the same.

If you look at the profile them, you will probably find that the outer lip follows the contour of the original arch but because the arch is quite wide and angles up towards the body where they attach, you'll find they are a little way off.

Mine fitted fine around the rear valanve when I had played with the positioning.

They still need a liitle bit of fettling before the final fit though.

Have a look at my project page or PM me for more details

Good luck

Steve

Because my car has had the rear arches tubbed and front arches cut, my flares only just cover the arch hole. I think a lot of the wider arches have been made with this in mind.

I had to change how mine fit slightly to get the maximum wheel travel and still have the bottom of the arches sitting along the sill line. At the front they sit up higher than the bumper and the rear I cut a little to let the back raise up slightly.
