Today I started on the tidying up of Luna's engine bay, but her bulkhead with the sound deadening on really outs it down.

This is it when I left off at the end of today:

You can see how old and cracked and horid it looks, but can you get new ones or something similar? Luna's engine bay really is the one thing that lets her down, but I do still want that sound deadening as I love her being so quiet.

Any help is much appreciated.

what type of dash do you have ?

what type of dash do you have ?


Top and bottom dash rails, just the standard, I have what I presume is the same stuff as in the engine bay behind the standard dash set up.

my under bonnet area was looking like yours

i removed mine and added a bit extra behind my wooden dash, seems to work as i didn't miss not having the stuff under the bonnet noise wise

looks good, just got to decide what to do. If i do remove it it will end up painted black as I won't ever manage to get it Luna colour. Thanks Bungle :thumbsup:

how about make some new stuff out of the bubble wrap and tin foil type of insulation (it's silver)
