Hello peeps,

i hope some one can help me,
ive just put in a aldon electronic points set LU144 it all seems to work apart from needing to get it retimed.
the car is a 1989 mayfair with a think a 59D dizzy, and the standard 3 dial guage set


my problem is that after installing this i noticed the rev counter no longer works, does anyone know why or what i may have done wrong. i have the aldon red and black wires on the coil as it shows, i checked the volt drop after the resistive wire was not less than 6V, i diconnected the old points wire at both ends (coil and points)
