Have a look at this which will show the work being done to Rocky and check out the same areas when you go to see the mini you mention here.
The only thing I would add is that Rocky has probably got a lot more rust in the scuttle which will be dealt with another time.

Without putting hands on the car I wouldn't even guess, but you could have a look here and see if senile old git (that's his tmf name) will give you an estimate. Caution is the watchword.

It would break for £1500.

Offer low and work your way up.

I'd be really interested to know what you find if you do buy this one. Good luck.

Very difficult to tell what the scuttle is like until you get the windscreen/seal and top dash rail out, they can be disintegrated underneath but look fine on the outside!

Also, appears that Rover started putting a bead of sealant on the front wheelarch lips underneath the sportspack arches and this can feel ok until you get the arches off and same story underneath, the sealant can just be holding it all together!!

Tell him £1500 cash - you can't go wrong at that.

I like you Teapot!

That is an interesing car, even as a specialist dealer I have never come across one with that mileage, but that aside it is the right colour and right model.

If you are going to buy the car and keep it I would say it is worth Circa £1200, spent a few quid restoring it, but at that mileage it is not going to be an easy one to sell on.
