your best bet is to get a (waits for childish sniggers)nut cracker or you can use a cole chisel or something.

sounds good, would a pair of mole grips do the trick?, actually the chisel sounds more fun and reckless (the door deserves to be put down now)

I used to have a nut gripper.
It was like a collar with a 1/2" drive hole in the end and a little arm that swung into the centre of the collar. So as you turned it the gnurled part gripped the rounded nut and loosened it.
That would have been ideal, but I sold it!
I guess you are trying to undo the ones that bolt through into the wheel arch? Could you try undoing the hinge bolts where they go into the door?

I took mine off by undoing the hinges from the front pillars.
The screws don't like moving though - mine were philips/posidrive style jobs.
My replacement doors already had hinges attached so on that day, Bob was my uncle!

what year is the mini? internal hinges? if so the go up the back of your front arch and undo the nuts there! then your door will come off with the hinges attached and you can get at the nuts properly!
another way is to carefully cut the nut with a hacksaw on 2 sides so that you have a couple of flat surfaces to grip too

i took a door off the other day, the nuts in the wheel arch came off really easy i was lucky, but access is tight so i pulled my a panel off for better access. i assume you dont want to do this as youprobally want to keep your a panels

Try a 6 sided 11mm socket, slightly smaller than the 7/16" you should have been using and with the aid of a hammer should be a very snug fit

or you cud always cut around the hinge and then weld another plate in, and then drill new holes, just a thort if you cant get it off.

Drill it out and hit it with a large hammer and chisel

all the hinge bolts on my doors were rusted and rounded to hell so i just drill down the centre of each one didnt take long then just opened the door and wiggled it and it came off easy peasy
