I want to get some 13"x7" wheels for my mini, but I want to know what is the difference between them?

Superlite, Minilite or Ultralight?

I am also trying to figure out which arches to get with them. I have disc brakes and spacered drums and would like to keep the arches fairly skinny. Any suggestions would be great help.

Thanks

I would steer clear of Minilites. They don't seem particularly good quality and, to me, unless they're 10 inch they don't look very good either. I prefer Ultralights, but Superlites also look really good; especially in 7 inch wide.

In terms of arches, you'll need something as wide as the Sportspack arch. I would check the directory in this section, but I think your options are basically Sportspack, Group 5s and Miglias. Group 2 Wides might also work.

I have had a look through the directory, and I'm thinking of the Group 6 or the German Sportspack.

I love the Zeemax bodykit, I think its the only bodykit that work with the lines of the Mini.

Any other suggestions?

Im thinking of getting the wheels in white! Pain to keep clean but I think it will look cool.

If buying superlites make sure you get then genuine ones: -

I have had a set of these 7*13 on my cooper for over 10 years now and they are top quality. I have also had the Australia Performance Superlites which are OK but not quite as good quality wise.

Personally I would steer clear of any of the other superlite style wheels as they quality is rubish... basically you get what you pay for. buy cheap buy twice is the lesson here.

I didnt mean skinny, but I hate it when the arches stick out past the wheels, it makes the wheels look smaller.

What I'm after is the wheels just peeking out past the arches, 1/4 or maybe 1/2 Inch.

I have my 7x13 Superlights on ebay at the moment, in great condition, take a look at item number

They're fantastic wheels, produce superb handling, there's a picture of my car with them on, sportspack arches.

All makes have slight differences in their wheels, minilites are the best ones to get, they are the originals and the money says it all, supalites and ultralites are really minilite copies, they are made from the orignal minilite design.

Ultralites seem to always have sharper spokes to supalites. There are also miniLIFE wheels.
