Im trying to get hold of some 10 x 6" wide weller wheels.

However, the only widths I can tell apart by looking at are the 5" wides because of the flatter spokes.

I found a thread on here that mentioned "4400-6" was stamped into the 6"wide rims (im now struggling to find the thread again!) but I have since seen some 5.5" rims advertised with that same number on the wheels :-

Can someone please confirm if the "4400-6" number ONLY appears on the 6" wides or not, no "think so's" please, this has to be right! and also, if thats the case, what number appears on the 5.5's?

or

Tell me an alternative way of telling how to tell the 5.5" and 6" wheel widths apart by markings on the wheels and just looking at them.

Please dont say just measure the wheel, because if youre trying to measure the width with the tyres fitted (which most people sell them like) half an inch is neither here nor there

Many thanks.

you look on the rim itself, stamped in the rim will be 6x10 if its 6x10 lol if its not stamped, and you have flat spokes, they will be 5.5, or 'kinked' spokes, being 5.5, the 6x10s also have dished spokes, where as the 5.5 as stated have 'flat' or 'kinked' spokes.

hope this helps!
