I have already purchased this off my mate, but was interested in what market value or book price is and is it worth more than book price as for my insurance I couldnt get an agreed value just yet so if it does get nicked/written off i will of course only get market value.

1993 Mini sprite 1275cc just under 18k on clock, one lady owner for 16 years.

From what i can see there is no rust in usual spots, it passed mot easily and tester remarked on how nice a car it is for age and nothing worn or rusting etc.

Only mods are alloys and interior door card alloy furniture and bucket seats.

Whats it worth you think guys?

In totally original condition ( ie seats, door cards, furniture and wheels ) I would see that on a traders site and something around the 4k mark...

Private sale, 2.5 - 3

and trade somewhere in the 1-2 bracket...

Looks like you've got a nice motor there..

Well i paid just over 2400 and that included a pioneer head unit and amp + 2x 12" subs in a box!

yea i havent seen many minis up close but bodywork wise it looks really nice no rust i can see.

Got it yesterday and I cant believe how little rust there is on it! only found one tiny bit behind the rubber strip seal finishers and they need replacing really to soon! even under aarches all looks clean, only bad thing i can see is oil all over engine from, the oil pipe on 12A engine my mate replaced it just before he sold it to me with a the braided one, so now needs a good clean up!

Yeah i dont plan to change to much else really, theres some sprite logos onside that look a bit naff lol but i if i removed them would leave a faded out line lol, and my mate does have all orginal seats and wheels etc but i havent got room for them anywhere at home!
All i want to add first is 12v socket and stereo and maybe an alarm!

My sprite stickers were removed by the previous owner, and one side it really showed, bit of polish, elbow grease and its not visible unless you get down low and look up at under a certain light, the other side you wouldnt know there was a sticker ever there though!
