I need some advice with oil pressure on the hayabusa.
The manual says you should get between 28-71psi at 3000rpm with oil at 60deg.
At 3000rpm I get nearly 100psi when oil is cold.
25-30psi at 60deg.
but when the oil gets hotter i.e. 80deg the pressure is down to about 15psi at 3000rpm.
Is this too low??

wheres your oil cooler sounds like you may be getting it too hot and thinning due to overheating

The oil cooler is enclosed near the engine but it has air fed to it from a naca window duct. Admittedly I was driving at the local speed limt (35mph) at the time so not much airflow was going through it.
The oil temp gauge only read 80degC, which I don't think is that high? It would be interesting to know what pressure others are getting at 3000rpm/oil temp 60-80degC?

I have just checked the oil I am using and it is 10W-30. Could this be the reason? Maybe a straight change to 10W-40 would increase the pressure.
What viscosity oils are you using??

10W30 is a very thin oil when hot.
