I got this as a spare engine when I bought my clubby and am sticking with the 1098 so do not need it, hopeing someone could tell me what it's worth as is and what it would be worth if I put it all together as a running engine (I have a set of gaskets that can be sold with it or used on it). it's a 1275, turns freely enough and seems in pretty good shape, but has no engine number as a previous owner has removed this...

pictures. (its a bit dusty, but it is only paint dust and will brush off)

has it got a big rubber thing stuck to the bottom of the remote gearbox housing ?

Actually you can just make it out in the first photo...

Out of an Austin 1300 ( unfortunately not a GT )...

Value, not a lot really, less commercial than an A+ being an A series, and not the desired A series 1300 lump which would be the GT, and the gearbox is not a mini.

If it were offered to me I'd be looking at giving no more than £50 for it.

PS.. it's got the wrong slave cylinder on it...

Not sure what you mean by rubber thing, here's a better picture, and some numbers that probably mean little...

Forgive me if I don't take you up on the £50 but thanks for your help.
