no i think thats all that holds it on, but mine was easier because i'd taken the screen out.
i expect its just stuck where its been on so long

i was told it's LOADS easier with the screen out, but it's still possible with it still in.....jiggle it about abit! might just be that it's a little cus as it's been there so long like ian said!

let us know how it goes?? are you taking it off for anything excting?

took mine off without the screen removed.... it took a bit of force actually but nothing was broken or bent.... the way i did it was to get a screwdriver at one end and lever it up, get it at the other and lever it up then try n pop it out from the gap between the screen and dash rail in the centre

hope this is useful.... if you understand what i just said

I had the same problem as you have.
My solution, before getting an axe and destroying it .... was to call my expert mate and have him come to my garage. :smartass:

Took him about 60 seconds to get it off. :saywhat:

He did something like YoungUn said.

Sorry I didnĀ“t help but I know your pain at this point
