Also, does anybody know any good mini and megajolt friendly rolling roads in the South/South West? I'm going to need one next week once my installation is complete.

There seems to be a lot of people using the generic maps posted on the autolabs site and copied elsewhere.
A MJ map list would be great as a starting point, but after that it really needs to be rolling road tuned to get the optimium.
Gone are the old days when the Aldon dizzy was the one hit wonder for modified engines, but in these days of programmable ignition maybe for road cars we don't need to be that accurate.

Surely the whole idea of fitting MJ in the 1st place is so you can tune the ignition EXACTLY to YOUR engines requirements?! i.e on a rolling road. Otherwise you may aswel fit a dizzy. This would especially be the case if the maps posted were home made specials that were produced by driving the car around with a laptop on the passenger seat. Just my two penneth!
agreed it need setting up on the rollers but if you have some maps from engines of a similar spec then its a good place to start and probably wont be far off what your engine needs which will save time/money on the rollers

no reason why you cant do it on the road rather than on rollers, afterall the rollers are there to replicate road conditions, as long as you find a decent road with good conditions the process is the same only you wont have a read out so you may not know wholely how its doing, as long as its driving good and not detting your doing well....and of course your going to save yourself cash if you take it out on the road and get your map close to before you mapping session
