My Circumstances may be about to change and i either need to get this car finished or i need to get rid, so i need a valuation please guys im in a catch 22 situation at the minute and need to see if its worth cutting my loses and selling or keeping it and finishing it off.

i dont honestly know how to do this so i will do it in good and bad points

well its a 1981 HLE which has been resprayed in orange with a black roof. its rust free and is only showing signs of rust on the inner scuttle by the air vents. over the last 5 months it has slowly been rebuilt. its had a new 998 engine dropped in and a front and rear subframe rebuild. all new bushes ball joints etc.

in the past month alone i have spent 700 on parts and work including a new g-max shocks all round, hi-los, a new head fully rebuilt all seats cut, new stem seals cam followers gaskets etc etc.

the car is taxed and tested and starts and ticks over fine. the only real problem i am having is that its really sluggish and may need tuning and at worse a new engine.

the bad points
the petrol gauge has a life of its own but im sure its the wiring loom thats causing the problem
the paint around the engine bay will need redoing was my fault made a little mess when dropping the engine in
its got a nice interoir but the door cards are horrible and could do with changing but each to there own i guess lol

i really have no money to finish the car but i know how much im after so we will see what you lot reckon and if my circumstances do change i really need a car now.

That is about right ... shame really, as a standard HLE it would of been very desireable and made considerably more money
