hi basicly my rear licence plate light were working then i had 2 take it off to ge it sprayed did that look good, so i finally went to put it back on and the bulbs wernt lighting up so i thought ok il change both the bulbs and try again so did that and still NOTHING>
does anyone know why this might be happening really need to sort it out because atm i cant drive at night not cool

Did you plug the wires back in to the wiring loom? Have you got a voltage and earth there?

The lights are wired in parallel, if neither works it's probably power supply, if it's just one then it's connector or bulb.

yer properly connected and no none of them light up at all

no front lift side fog lights dont work or rear left fog light?

soudns like you may have blown a fuse if other things arent working

ill have a quick look in haynes at which one if you tell me the year of your car

just realised haynes doesnt list the number plate light, if i remember correctly tho it should be wired to the left hand (passenger) side tail lights

yer i recond it was 1 big link so if 1 didnt work they all wouldnt, and its a 1993 mayfair.

Check the fuse box on the bulkhead - last fuse down, should be 15amp. This fuse does the number plate lights, and also:
Left-hand side and tail lights, instrument panel lights, headlight dimdip relay.

thank you very much people i shall try when the sun comes out even if it is rain witch it will be because its england but anyways

the day new is the new fuse didnt make any differnce so i dont know what it could be ? any other ideas?
