hiya,

im going to refurb my wheels but the problem is that there polished alluinum so how would i go about removing the laqaure with out damaging the alluinum

You need to get them bead blasted by someone who is used to doing alloy wheels. look in Practical Classics, or go on-line to find someone local to you.
