I am repairing a mk1 for a friend and in return he is re spraying my mondeo

well after looking at it and telling him that he needed a floor pan quarter, a boot floor repair panel, 2 sills, rear valence, wings and a panels he told me to order the parts for him

this was done at mini spares over the internet. On monday 2 parcels arrived at work and i opened them and checked that everything was there and not damaged which it wasn't as usual, great i thought i have something to do over the weekend now,

on Wednesday a courier arrived with another parcel at work from mini spares, strange i thought i have everything upon looking in the box i found a stainless steel bumper in it which i had not ordered.

i got straight on the phone to Ivan at mini spares after a few emails and a few pictures of labels etc i got an email tonight that it was an error on their part and due to the postage costs from sweden i could dispose of the bumper as i wished.

So i thought i would just like to post a thread here to say to everyone (if there is anyone that didnt know) that mini spares are fantastic

now i just need to work out what to do with it as mine is de-bumpered

Great! not often stuff like that happens! But mini spares are great. I have been emailing Simon over the last few days with queries prior to my order and he has been as fantastic as always.

Are you in a mini club? ask around, see if anyone needs one. Theres always someone with a rusty bumper!

i fail to see what is so special about a standard delivery. they only said keep it as they would be out of pocket collecting it from there, otherwise i bet they would have had it back.

Ye, echoing everyone above. Fantastic service, always use Mini Spares.

Apart from when ordering nuts and bolts, can't help feeling they'd benefit hugely from having blow apart diagrams like Moss & Somerford.

I'd love to use Mini Spares when ordering my nuts and bolts, it's just a lot easier to see a blow apart diagram so I know what goes where.

Yeah nothing but great service

I do feel something like an exploded diagram like Moss and Somerford have would help but don't make it so it's the only way of looking for parts via exploded diagrams :o

Also I find that I need magic keywords in the search to find what I need but I understand keeping a site like that with so many parts is hard work and updating everything takes time

We do have exploded diagrams, they just need moving somewhere a bit more prominent....

About time they opened a store in the south...may I suggest Guildford or Dorking? What say you Simon?

No! Bristol!! ;) Fed up of spending money on postage costs :o Excellent service I must add, only ever had one thing that was slightly wrong, contacted them, sent it back and got money back straight away. Always use MiniSpares instead of the other suppliers. :xxx:
