I've recently sold some front seat belts to someone and after they've fitted them they've told me they don't work. I'm pretty sure they were working when they were in my car as I wouldn't have sold them unless they were working! Is there anything I can tell him to check, anything that needs to be done a specific way when installing them? Apparently the seat belt won't go in or out, and both of the seat belts are like this, which makes me thinking it might of been something he missed when installing them or something, as both of the seat belts breaking would be quite odd? And help very much appreciated?

Seat belts won't work?!?

the intertia reel part of the seatbelt has to be perfectly horizontal! otherwise it will lock! they are designed to lock in place to hold the driver in! Get them to ensure that they are horizontal! also, if they pull them very slowly then release them it should unlock the ratchet inside the unit!

yeah had the same problem with mine, make sure there perfectly horizontal as the inertia will be affected if not causing it to lock permanently. ensure the nut and bolt through the middle is tight (it is quite fiddly)
good luck
