There are many different radiators available, which one should I get? The Minispares all-metal unit looks really nice, but is it the same size as the factory unit? I have a custom air con system and space is very tight. I think mine has developed a small leak around the lower neck and will need to be replaced. My fan has seized and will need to be replaced. My radiator expansion tank is damaged (from overheat) and could start leaking, so that also needs to be replaced. I remember reading a while ago that someone had found Spal fans for half the price that minispares or W&P wants... but I can't find the thread now. They want more for a fan than a radiator! £90.00 for a fan!!!!

Not to sure if the rad on a MPI with air con is any different.
If not there are a few rads on ebay.
I think When I was lookin for a new one Mini Sport was the cheepest. As for the fan, I got mine from a place that sells kit car parts. Think the company was called ferady cars, however a google search does not show up
Yeah defo replace the expansion tank, once it swells from overheating it should be replaced

My radiator is factory stock. The air con system was fitted by myself, not by Rover or a dealer.
My main question is about the fan. I know that Spal resells these fans to shops online, and one can be had for a lot less than £90. I just don't know which fan to get and where to get it from.

Spal seems to sell directly to consumers. In the USA, you can go here:

I'm not sure what size is used on the MPI's, but they start at 7.5" and upwards, and $80 US. Hopefully there's a SPAL part number on the MPI part, but if not just take measurements and see which one is the closest match...
