Evening all,

Havn't posted on here for a long while and have only just noticed this area.

Just though I would share with you my experience with Magnum Motorsport who are based in Merseyside. A very log story:

I first brought a smoothy bootlid from them years ago which took 5 months to arrive.

About 6 months later I placed an order for about £950 worth of bits. 2 x classic buckets, fibre glass lamp pod, carbon fibre bonnet, and a few other bits I cant remember. This was in February of 2008. After numerous phone calls and promises from them nothing. Finally four moths later I finally received one of the two boxes, containing one seat, the lamp pod and the lamps. Again after numerous phone calls and promises saying that the other parcel had got lost, had been returned to Magnum Motorsport and they were going to re-send it to me nothing. Eventually about six months later I gave up and said that I would return the one bucket seat (which I paid for the postage) and get a refund for that and all the bits I never received. Magnum Motorsport received the seat, I know as it was recorded delivery, yet despite numerous phone calls again they didn't refund the money.

I finally got so peeved that I took them to the small claims court (which cost me £65). The judgement was given my way as Magnum Motorsprt ignored it, and I was given the option to try and recover the money, however the courts wanted £100 to recover the money, and I was not willing to pay more money without gaurantee of my money being re-covered.

So at the end of the day I am out of pocket for just over a grand. I thought Magnum Motorsport would be a good trustworthy compnay as they are established with rallying I believe.

I really wouldn't trust Magnum Motorsport at all.

Cheers,

Timbo

i dont know the company that well, nor do i know all about your situation, a customer of my friends bought a load of pannels for his peugeot 205, they parts got delivered by someone who works there even tho it was miles away, mentioned of some sort of troubles the company was going through, the seats are no longer fia approved due to lack in buissness etc

seats are comfortable tho, got them in my rally car
