i love wheelerdeals! amazing how much you can learn haha.
i especially loved the mini one! looked awesome afterward. did notice they didnt do anything about the rusty bits, i wouldnt buy a vinyl wrapped mini. you dont know what hiding underneath:(

Love it the carbon fibre material cost 600 and something quid - much cheaper than a respray......

Oh, forgot to mention that the 2 pro wrappers would cost 500 for the day !!!!

I love wheeler dealers. That mini city, old mk1 mini and the fiat 500 programs they did i loved the most! However, in a few years time, only the Vinyl rap will be left of the body! XD

it was great just had to make sure the body is in good cond, otherwise everything will show up!

is it the 3m DI-NOC stuff? looks great but is really expensive. I saw a demonstration video where they screw it up into a ball and then use a hair dryer and it goes back flat like new

Wheeler Dealers Hmmm

I too love it but watch it for the Novelty Factor

Every So often they actually do a car properly but not very often

Some of the Bodge Ups and make me laugh

The Ferarri they did last series they repaired a front fibreglass Valance and then sprayed it in Red Oxide (i assume this was so it wouldnt rust )

They did a Toyota MR2 replaced a broken ignition barrel stripped half the dash out then replaced the new one and replaced the whole dash before checking if the barrel actually worked

would of been embarasing if it hadnt

Replaced two wings on a Mercedes 230e then left the valance between then covered in rust bubbles (they could of sprayed it for a few quid with a rattle can)

a Mk1 Golf GTI they left a few large rust scabs under the front grille,the car looked great they could of spent a few quid extra but no they left it to save a fiver or so

The Mini they vinyl wrapped had primer on the front wings but they just vinyl wrapped over it
they should of put a solid coat over the primer wouldnt of mattered what colour as it was being wrapped but leaving porous primer under the vinyl wrap

then there was the Mk1 Mini they took a shed load of filler out of a dent they could of actually beat out with shrinking hammers but chose to just fill it again!!!
They must of spent the cost of a shrinking hammer on filler used

Then they painted the engine Black!!! a Black engine on a Mk1 just because they couldnt be assed spending a few quid in green paint

Then there was the Capri they made a right old mess of doing the clear coat on the front wings then fitted brand new graphics over the bodge up,they would of been better passing the new graphics on to the new owner to fit incase they wanted to have the wings sorted properly but instead they fitted them to crappy paint what a waste!!

Then when Mike buys the cars he gives you useful tips like not to seem too keen in front of the seller then the idiot allways tells the seller he loves the car!!!
Then when he sells them he tells the buyers when we got it it was a right mess but my Wizard edd has filled the car with a ton of filler

Great Novelty Factor as already said but you really cant take these guys seriously

But this was truley naff.

Wrapping the car could have been great, had it been matt black, or some custom livelry, union jack or something - but fake carbon fibre! Didnt like it.

forgot to mention that
also he cut the half of the A Panel out then part of the Inner Flitch then welded the A Panel half on first followed by struggling to weld in the Inner Flitch because the A Panel was now in the way

now if he had done it around the other way he would of found it soo much easier

They are on later today doing an Alfa its great theres a stonking great whole in the floor they could of got a replacement floor panel but instead they welded in a really messy panel that looked like it come from an old biscuit tin then undersealed it

Then when they sell it the woman buying it hadnt even noticed but Mike had to lift the carpet ant tell her what a doughnut!!!

He then claimed his Edd had put a new floor in,err no it looks like he got a drunken monkey (no offence to monkeys intended) to bodge a biscuit tin into the whole using a flame thrower then tarmac over it

if your learning how to do anything for the first time and you think you havnt done it very well never fear everybody can rest assured you will always make a better job of it than Mike and Edd

just watched the whole episode on youtube, last i heard the choke doesn't restrict air flow...pretty sure it raises the idle and richen's the mixture....urm not sure about not bothering to clean the rust on that rear subframe, and then god knows what he was up to with that knuckle joint..reaally!
and then for that million dollar look, lets not get new bright work, instead we'll polish up a turd! great job guys! don't even get me started on his soldering work!
