Hi Everybody. I am a newbie so hope I am doing everything correctly to post a question.

My wife has a Mini Cooper Sport Classic 2000 vintage which is showing signs of age with respect to the body work. I have taken it to a couple of body shops here in Cornwall but they are not interested in doing it.

Does anybody out there know of anyone in the Cornwall area (or possibly Devon) who could carry out a lot of bodywork?

Hope to hear from somebody. Thanks.

Heya - Im based in St. Austell and I've just had mine restored. Was a complete nightmare trying to find someone interested in doing the work I needed and I eventually found a chap based in Summercourt - reasonable price and proper good quality work carried out. Can find his details if you want a quote or anything?

Hi all and thanks for all the replies. At the moment we are near Redruth but hoping to move near to Penzance soon.

The extent of the work is as follows:-

Doors, wings, bonnet area around windscreen etc. All are showing rust bubbling. I guess they are all the usual areas. We are quite happy to spend money to get it done as we want to keep it (of course!).

We don't mind travelling so would love to have names of suitable people. Someone who wouldn't say "If I were you I would get rid of it!" as one bodyshop suggested. He then added "Anyway, I don't like minis". Philistine!

Names and phone numbers would be very helpful! Thanks.
