Hi all,

I am currently attempting to bleed my new 7.5" S disk setup (No servo).

I am using an Easybleed, with the spare tyre acting as the pressure. Currently, The master cylinder is full of brake fluid and I have loosened off the bleed nipple on the right-hand calliper, however no fluid is getting through. I losened off the connection from the front valve (situated on the bulkhead) and some dribbled through suggesting that the problem lies at the split between the right and left calliper (mounted on the front subframe).

My question is; the banjo bolt at the front brake splitter is nipped up, however, I noticed that the bolt has a single hole. Does this hole need to line up with the pipe, as I'm guessing it currently isn't thus no fluid getting through? It currently has a copper washer seal top and bottom, then bolts into the drivers side Goodridge brake hose.

Cheers,
Tom

Work your way out, inward. So if you can do the bleed nipple, do the banjo then keep working inward. Might be crap in a pipe somewhere that may be an issue.

I remember doing mine, my front left wouldn't go. So I gave the pedal a pump and that seemed to force it on its way. Just remember, you're probably going to have to bleed again after you unclogged. So bleed it all once, then go round and bleed again to be sure.

Cheers Adam, I'll have to look into it. Am I right in presuming the banjo bolt is fine as it is?

Seperate question: Does one of the copper washers sit underneath the union and one on top?
