Doesnt sound worth it if you currently have a headlining. If you dont want one on the wing couldn't you get one of those that are hidden, just a wire really like on most new cars.

I was in the same situation as yourself, so i bought an internal ariel that sticks to the window. I actually stuck it underneath the top dash rail and it gets a perfect reception
No drilling, all it needs is just a live and an earth.

hi i fitted a roof mounted 1 on the front and it looks the t*ts well before i took it back off as cars is now sanded down lol. i used the interior mirrir screw hole as a centre as the mirror is in the center of the car. then then marked it with pencil then from that mark drew a little line onto the roof. then marked again where i want the aerial to be the started with a small pilot hole then a bigger drill. and it perfect. you could do this with a rear just would have to draw a faint line over your roof or measure from one side then do the same. i thought i would muck it up but luckly i didnt and looks really good too
good luck what ever you do
cheers
