SO I have decided I need to document everything I fix and screw up with my Mini. So I may aswell post it here.

I own a 1971 blue Morris Mini K. Limited edition and made in New Zealand. 1100cc engine, and currently on its second owner...ME!

So far I have taken out the engine, exhaust system, transmission, doors, and a lot of paint.

Why I took out the engine; I don't know. It's going to be hard putting it back in, well for me anyway.

The back lights have been cut out so I'll need to weld new panels in their place that fit the lights :)

Since I've already explained the "K", I'll just copy and paste:

The Mini K (for Kangaroo) was a limited edition model made by Morris. It was built and sold only in Australia and New Zealand. Mine was made in New Zealand which is where I live. The Mini K did come with carpet, windup windows, Mk1 doors, and it does come with a limited edition Morris badge (I'll upload a picture if anyone is interested).

Looks good, at least with the engine out you will be able to give it a good clean and sort out everything that otherwise would have been difficult to get too.

There is the badge, a green rocker cover with an Australian Map with MOWOG embossed on it, and Hydrolastic suspension is standard.

Well first off to weld new panels where the back lights go, then respray the entire car, put the engine back in and....thats it. I want to keep it as standard as possible. I'm not a fan of racing seats or spotlights etc..
