[1977 Loud_Mini]

Hi all, i came back from a drive a while ago and i noticed the mini running unevenly like it was slightly on 3 cylinders and when i accelerated it has a really loud metallic noise coming from what i think is the big end or possibly piston. Can anyone shed some light on my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Evan.
