Thanks mate, Ive changed all the ball joints, its only just had an mot, shouldnt they off picked up on wheel bearing? etcif there are dips in the road usually made by big lorrys i know they will 'tram line' if its hapening all of a sudden then i would check your ball joints, track rod ends, bearing etc the normal stuff for wear and tear

If there isn't a grinding noise and it is not regular (i.e when braking or accelerating), I would suspect it to be a bit of "tramlining" also. Get in the slow lane of the motorway - does it do it then? If so it's tramlining.
Nah theres no grinding noise of what i can hear but ill have a check. hmm it does sometimes do it when i brake, and nah its actually ok on the motorway, i always sit in the slow lane with the lorries lol,

other than that, it probably is tramlining.

what you could do is jack it up, and see if there is any play in the wheel... (do you have a haynes?) its coverd int here on how to do it.
other than that, it probably is tramlining.

Yeah i got a haynes manual, ill go have a look through it in a bit. ok cheers mate. ill go do that just put it on axcels and see whats going on, got to put my sump guard on anyway so it kills two birds with one stone lol. If it was tramlining then i would off noticed it before. might bleed all the breaks aswell cause sometimes when you brake heard it goes left

Hmm, could be CV joint. Have a friend with a new mini that does just this. It's worse on braking for him and his is definately the CV joint. Although saying that It could be a number of reasons. The nearside brake could be binding (not fully releasing), the nearside tyre could have low pressure, the tracking could be out, Steering rack could be sticking, tie rod ends, bearings. Get it to a friendly mechanic.
Thanks mate, well ive just had the tracking done so i hope its not that, cost me £40 for tracking, ill check all the tyre pressures and see what there like. The friendly mechanic (my dad) is at work. Mite drive it done to him and see what they say. how could i tell if the steering rack is sticking? It does get worse when you brake actually. considering its only just gone threw a mot its not good lol
