hi all

Can your help me out on this one i have all the digi dashi up with no problems but i was just wanting to know where you have located the oil pressure sender for the digi dash?

I am running a hayabusa powered mini if this helps.

I have two wires running into the sender but was curious as to what i need to plumb into the sender to obviously get the oil pressure.

Many thanks

Phil :P

Hi,
I have just installed one on mine.
There is allen head bold near the bottom of the engine on the right hand side (near existing oil pressure switch).
This is used for a test point for connecting an oil pressure guage. If you remove this, you can connect your sender unit to this using a remote mount kit (available from digidash). This is an 18" pressure hose from the sender to the engine + NPT thread adaptor priced at £19.95. This is what digidash advise as if you mount the snder directly to the engine the vibrations can cause it to fail.

Hope this helps
Br, Ben.

Hi Phil

Get Z-cars to make you a foot long pipe wich bolts straight into the original hole for the pressuresensor. On the other end screw the sensor on. Take a p-clip around the sensor, take the top bolt of the clutch casing of and put it back holding the p-clip and sensor. This way it's remote mounted and won't be annoyed by the vibrations.
