Just bought a cb radio and set it up. Was just wondering if there was a standard channel us mini drivers use? (would search but cant be bothered) :P

we have been using channel 5, but I don't think there is a specific one.

no real specific one for minis.
if you ever go to a show just post up here about it and just name a channel so the users on here who have a cb can also go on that channel :dontgetit:

also be prepared for some very bizarre and random chat over the cb radios :P

As above no specific one, must clubs will pick a channel before setting off so it's just a case of doing a channel scan on the day.

Channel 19 has always been the general pick up channel then you move away to a different one.
i think most people just agree what to use on the day

Well after our cv1 mini meet last night we use Ch20. So if you’re in or near Coventry that’s the channel lol.
Very pleased with the range we got a 4mile inner city range yesterday.

anyone is essex use one might get myself one for some entertainment on the way home at night :) what ariels do you use?

Roof mag mount and the biggest ariel i could find. now looks like i drive a remote contol mini lol

i got a 13 quid one of ebay, works perfectly, can get around 2-5 mile range on it

I'v been looking at getting a CB. I wanted one for riv run although that don't look like its gonna happen now. I will get one sometime though.
