Hi not sure if this has already been covered.
I receuved a phonecall from my new insurance stating that they need proof that Im a member of this forum. I gave them mt TMF+ number but they said they need it in written form that I am a member and not just saying so, otherwise I cannot have my discount.
The company I am with is SureTerm.
Can anybody help?

Never been asked for it.
Send them a link to the TMF and get them to do a member search.

As of yet I have not received anything like that, I did give them my TMF+ number but its not proof as such.
Im not sure if the packs are still being issued with the subscription now £5 which is what I paid, Ive only been a member over a month.
Thanks for your reply fella

A question for the Mod that was championing the TMF + recently then I think.

ive got 2 classic cars insured with sureterm and ive tried 4 attempts with my local mini club to give them membership proof.
in the end ive just ignored their threats about increasing my premium and as such i havent heard a thing since.

I can understand why you have ignored them, it would get very annoying after trying several time, but knowing my luck if I did this and something happend my insurance would be invalid lol that would be my luck anyway, maybe I will take the chance and ignore them.

I knew there were no packs with the reduced cost membership, but I thought that membership cards were going to be emailed.

I have to manually create each one then convert it to PDF before I send it. Due to the fact it takes about 15 mins to get all the necessary info and create the card they are now done if you require them. A PM to me will suffice but please bear in mind I do have a 6 month old son so have a lot on at the moment so you may have to wait a while to get it.
Most companies will accept just your Membership number which I can provide easily via a pm. Am surprised that Sureterm are being so pedantic about it to be fair.
