Hellooooo,

This question seemed to get asked a lot in the past.....but where in the name of god can you buy a miglia sunstrip from??? I've been looking for ages....i wanted one for my first mini 2 years ago and had no luck, and i'm now on my second mini and still on the hunt for one!

Does anyone know who sells them?

Does any of the vinyl blokes on here such as racinggreen do them?

Any help would be appreciate....

I'm sure i can't be the only one who's after one

Cheers

Mike

Have a look in the traders section, Roofless does a range of custom graphics and I'm sure he will do you one.

Plod and maybe even MOT man might not like it if it encroaches into the swept area of your wipers which, on a Mini, is about a cm from the top of the glass... :)

does anyone know their reasoning for that? iv got a strip on my rally mini and its actualy stuck on the inside of the windscreen, although it doesnt have any writing on it, thats again on the outisde of the screen to the N/s of the car out of swept area

scroll down the page a little. The shaded area of the windscreen (the area that is infront of the driver, 290mm wide centred on the steering wheel) is zone A. The rest of the swept part of the windscreen is zone B.

A reason to reject an MOT is if a windscreen sticker or other obstruction encroaches more than 10mm in zone A or 40mm in zone B.

As above, it's an MOT fail to have it below the path of your wipers.

that's not a bad price - but be aware, I'm guessing its digitally printed and laminated, so it'll be quite thick in vinyl terms - and may effect operation of wipers quite a lot, especially if they;re a bit old and stiffened up ( oo-er mrs :) ) you really want a nice cast vinyl - super thin but strong.
