hi i have a 1991 mini cooper 1.3i.

i need to replace the seal as it has corroded and cracked. do i need to take the fuel tank out to do it or is there an easier way.

any instructions on how to do it please

also i need to replace the vacuum pipe from the fuel trap to the trottle body but it is a very tight fit and can barely get two fingers down there. is there an easier way to do this? do i have to start taking bits off?

thank

Vac pipe is either stuggle getting down the back or start takin the complete assembly off, you can get them on though, it might help taking the little bracket off what holds the fuel pipes on.

The seal is hard to remove with the tank in place so is easier to just pull the tank into the boot, its just one bolt that holds the strap that goes across the tank in the boot, you will see it by the passenger side light cluster area.
