i thought sat savs spoke to youi like hat youve done and what your thinking.
but... i thought the reason sat navs were screen mounted was so you can glance at it and still see the road, with that wont you have to take your eyes completely off the road?

exactly what elmo said is what i was insinuating, they do talk to you but if your in an area you've never been to (the reason you would use a sat nav in the first place) going on what the sat nav says isnt always ideal as sometimes the spoken directions can be too late, hence why being able to glance at it for visual confirmation is handy.i thought sat savs spoke to youi like hat youve done and what your thinking.

it does, but its still benefical to get confirmation from the screen directions. It looks good, but does leave the nav a bit low for my likeing!

behave, glancing at the sat nav is no worse than checking your mirrors, speed, temperature, oil pressure, looking down to turn the heater on.
