Ok peeps.

I've been toying with the idea of getting speedwell seats for the mini. However, I was wondering if anyone has got them, and what you opinions are on them.

eg. Comfort, size, fitment, price, etc.

Regards
The Rev

comfiest seats i have ever sat in, plus they look sexy.... mine were off ebay a while ago, cost about £170 for the two without subframes... i love them, never get a bad back on long journeys, used to in the standard seats before i got them...

Are the Speedwells from minispare the proper ones? Because it's the only place I could find them for sale.

I have been looking at these seats for the pick up. They look well suited to the pick up as the "bucket" sides arent as deep as similar bucket seats meaning they will be easier to get in and out of with a lowered steeering bracket in place (and might fit my fat ass in also)

Plus the back isnt as far back as other buckets, again making them ideal for the pick up.

I really want a pair, and dont mind paying the price for the seats but with subframes as well (which I found to be really expensive) it put them out of my price range.

however, if I ever see a second hand pair for sale......................

i have speedwell bucket fitted in my mini, they are probably one of the comfiest seats ive ever sat in but on long journeys i tend to start aching a little
( i think its mainly me leaning forward etc)

they do have a very laid back.. well.. back to them when im sat in them properly i can see out of the rear window by just turning my head

i can get a picture up if you want

Thanks for the opinions guys. I'm a bit disspointed about original speedwells being hard to find (and expensive).

I'll get a pair soon. Hopefully they'll be good for long journeys.
