Dear all,
I have a 1992 Rover Mini rolling shell thats in primer.
Does anybody know of a place or person that would be able to strip the primer back, do a little bit of body work and prime and respray me mini for a cheap price?
I'm based in Billericay ( CM12 9SB)
Many thanks

What bodywork is needed and what do you consider cheap, ie what is your budget?

MC specialist called tony -07506610707 on the old 130 near west hannifield/ wickford. I dropped my mini off there today for full respray, mk1 lights weld in, new mirrors, new bonnet and interior spray. 1250. This was recommended to me by a mini mate of mine who had a black mini with a bodykit on. Tony did a respray and put the bodykit on including welding for 1650 . When i went down there, he was doing his own mini up. Looked goods to me so cant wait. the welding boosts up the price.

Thanks guys,
Well its going to have a metro turbo engine in it. So weld the turbo box in the bulkhead. Some patching up on the driverside rear quarter panel (pictured below) and thats about it.

I got quoted around £850 to do that and spray the mini. I thought that was a bargn but just wanted to see what other people thought the price should be.
Many thanks

Sounds cheap to me. When have you booked your IVA test for?
