Is it not just the 2 bars that have bent? You can bend them back easy.

Can you get in from the other side of the car to access anything on the inside of the door... or perhaps the inside latch might still work/release?

If you take the door card off you can open it with a screwdriver by pushing the latch, maybe the door handle bar has become disconnected...

Or take the handle back off and just push it with your finger.

Sorry if ive confused you, the handles still on as we never got that far, basically it wont push in on the inside atall.

Mayber cutting it off is the best option

Not really sure what you mean to be honest!

Perhaps start again from the beginning.

This really isn't a problem, nothing in the latch system can jam up so that it can't be opened. You have the door card off, look inside. The door handle pushes a plunger against a lever on the latch to trip it. All you need to do to reset it is push the lever. If you can't push it it's only because the private lock has been tripped which can happen when you pull the latch off of the door. Just unlock it.
