Hi , I need to replace my 1/4 fuel line with both subframes attatched the rear looks diddly but ok but the front looks tricky as the line feeds behind the steering rack locates in a couple of body mounted tabs then bends away again
so what's the best way to tackle this and leave a kink free line ?
Cheers !
Jon

I replaced mine recently using steel braided 1/4" fue hose. Easy to fit, follows the same line as your current fuel pipe (I secured it with P-clips), and will be kink free. Pretty sure I got it from eBay (I think it was this... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MINI-COOPER-SERIES-1-4-6MM-BRAIDED-FUEL-HOSE-PIPE-/400117167928?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d28d77738

Cheers,
Colin.

cheat and do what I've seen some respected (ish) mini restorers do and run the fuel line under the subframe rather than behind it....
