Anyone fitted one of these before?

http://www.smart-screen.co.uk/

I took one off a car I broke for spares but want to test it and can't find fitting instructions!

I have done but it turned out to be faulty. The guy making them was quite unhelpful at the time and refused to believe there was anything wrong with it, it must have been my fault. After he refused me a refund I opened it and found it to have missing parts. Having said that, I have since dealt with him again and found him to be very accomodating (I told him he was selling the wrong kits for Minis because he was advertising kits for earth switched washer pumps as a Mini fitment) and a very friendly chap. Everyone has off days I suppose!

<<I've just checked his site though and he hasn't updated that so maybe he's not that friendly after all!>>

It splices into most of the wiper motor wires but you do have to actually cut one, I think you cut the low speed wire and connect one cut end to the terminal marked switch and one to the terminal marked wipe. Check with the guy though because if you get the park circuit connection wrong there is a risk of a short. The guy's website is smart-screen.co.uk. If the unit you have is not for a Lucas 14W wiper motor don't try and bodge it in, it will pop.
