Hello to everyone

I have to replace the front subframe front mountings, and I tried before to jack the car from under the subframe and put two axle stands under the front seals, but the right one always starts to bend when I try to take the jack off of the subframe, but in the haynes manual say that have to be done like that.

Anybody have some idea how to do it in other way, without bend the sills, or any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Either support the car at the front of the subby - or - put a heavy wood beam across the floor with the axle stands under the beam. Stands will destroy the sills if used on them directly.

Sorry , common knowledge for country folk. A 4" by 2" wooden post, or something similar. :o
