They're expencive for what they are though and you could probably make something similar for alot less, but you pay for the ease of fitment with these I guess.
Anybody know what hold the shock absorber side of these in place? I know a few self tappers hold it along the wing, but do they just wedge around the shock or what?

That doesn't sound too far off the size that'd be needed and it'd be just case of getting it into place and cutting around the shock and any other contours and things you'd need to get around, then they'd screw into place pretty easy.

I've fitted these my GT's and round noses as they fit both and would recommend them if you don't want your new front end to rot away. i would advise waxoiling the inner wing aswell to add further protection.
Im getting my cooper back from the bodyshop next week.
how easy and how do you fit them?
a good idea as iv got all new front end panels fitted and the extra protection cant hurt

My next question is,.. I have Group 6 wheel arches and 13x7 alloys so the inner wing has been cut away. I am guessing the arch liner will now need so modification to fit?
