Just renewed my insurance with AF - aside from the 43.2% APR they were going to charge me on DD payments all has gone very smoothly.

They have even agreed to consider a higher agreed value based on photos and spec only which is pleasing.

For all those insured with AF - do you ever check the website to see who you have spoken to??

I dealt with Holly but it seems she isn't one of the flux babes

how did you go about agreeing a decent value for your mini as i've never done it before :/
it insured for £5000 and they didnt even ask to see a photo? :S

I asked to bump it up and they want 6 more photos - even though it hasn't changed since last year!!

How did you get £5k as they refused to go that high for me without a formal valuation . Although I have found out today that the car trader my uncle does a lot of work for is more than happy to value it, seen as he sold a basic cooper for £4500 last year!!
