Model: Mini Cooper Sport
Year: 1999
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):

Randomly when accelerating she feels like shes struggling and feels like she lurches and doesnt pick up speed very quickly, it feels like shes going to stall. Quite scary actually. Does anyone know wht that could be? is it something simple like dirt in the petrol?

Oh and a quick question when i go from main beam to dipped all my lights cut out so i cant see anything so im frantically flicking it until it comes back on. Its only recently started that is that a switch gone faulty :D

Any suggestions would be great!
Ta

Hey, glad you got the lurching sorted out.

I had a similar lights issue, solved by a new switch. They're cheap so worth trying that first anyway!

I had it with my sidewalk, it should be a faulty switch, they pop out of the switch panel and are only a few pounds to replace, I just lived with mine, I carefully flicked the switch from off to dipped to main, instead of flicking it straight to main beam.

as said above it sounds like a switch at fault. over the years they get pulled about and it losens the pins on the back. untill you get a new one sorted. try popping the switch out but leaving it on the wiring, then when it plays up just move it around and they should come on

if it gets worse they will start going off a lot when you hit bumps etc
