May I ask why? As i learn't from racing, a Mini is much much much easier to control with a larger steering wheel. You'll find yourself fighting every pot hole and rut with a tiny steering wheel. Just my 2 pence anyway. Dan

I can totally agree with that. I raced on a horrible rutty grass track and in the end we had a 15" quick release wheel ! barly got my legs under the thing!

I find 12" is a good compromise between size and useability, i wouldn't have any other size now, that includes the original!

Plus if you go down in size with the steering wheel and up in side on the road wheels, you can pretty much forget about trying to park and turn the wheel at low speeds.

yes twelve inches is a good size  lmao

my old mini had a 12 ich wheel, my new one has a 13 inch motolita wheel, which i prefer, a tiny wheel like a 10 inch one will probably require a huge amount of effort to turn it when parking...

I use a 12inch wheel, with 10x6inch wheels, i dont find it any harder to steer than the standerd 13inch wheel.

13inch steering wheels for the win

10inch or 'button wheels' are mad, seen one on a vw polo looked even smaller

EDIT: will an aftermarket steering wheel (with boss) from an 83 mini fit an 1989?
