Well, finally got myself a replacement since Shelby sold. 1973 VW Squareback

A big thank you to Dad as hes covering most of the costs until i can pay him back (When my Moped sells) More or less solid body, engine runs sweet and trim is present all bar a headlight which the seller may have somewhere. Just arranged to pick it up next weekend!

Now for Bungle... I know you're into your VW's, what was the forum you mention from time to time? Best i start reading up on air cooled you see

Are they much harder to work on or is it just confusing at first when you cant find the rad I'd of though, rear engined air cooled would over heat to be honest...

Bad News all _____ ready! Bearing in mind ive already phoned him and all that jazz, i just messaged him for his paypal details to send through my deposit and i got a reply saying hes going to stick a buy it now on the ad for me. Problem is, theres 7 other people that have asked for a buy it now and are watching it. And dads down stairs in no rush to get his ass on my pc!!! Stressy time!

I haggled him to £650 on the phone which he agreed to. NOt quite sure why hes put £700 on the ad? Anyway just messaged him and he said £600 on collection and £50 paypal deposit so im happy
