Hi All

Out of interest, what was the last ever carb'd Mini before changing to SPi? I have a 1994 Mini 35 1275 Carb, which, by that time all the Coopers etc had changed to SPi.

I know the last carb'd coopers were the RSP's, but that was back in 92 (I think).

Anyone have any idea?

Cheers

The Mini 35 was one of the last Minis to have a carb. By 1996 they were all injection. Mini Sprite and Mini Cooper.

That would make sense, as mine's a 94 M with electric fan etc but carb. Just wondered when the last carb model was made. :)

The last carb model was made around 1994/95 whilst the Mini Sprite and Mini Mayfair were still in production, so unless someone from Longbridge can confirm, it'd be difficult to say exactly which model with what VIN number on what date was the final carb model was made.

The 1995 Mini Sidewalk LE was one of the first LE non Cooper Minis to get the SPi engine.
