Hi
As some of you know, I am restoring my 1960 mini. It orginally had single leading shoe front brake drums.

I want to upgrade it to twin leading shoe drum brakes. I already have the rear brake backplate assemblies which include the larger diameter wheel cylinders.

I have the standard master cylinder and MK1 brake regulator.

Is there anything else i need to consider when doing this conversion tom the front drum brakes, or is it as straigtforward as just fitting and adding a bridge pipe between the two slave cylinders?

Thanks

you will need to replace the front back plates - the old single back plates do not take two cylinders , and maybe the brake flexy hose , make sure the rear plates you have - with the larger cylinders ! - are the right ones for the Mk1/11 single line sysrem .
the brake linnings for the front twin cylinder are wider so you will need them aswell
