Hello all
Can anyone tell me the name and paint code of the blue used on the italian job edition minis?
Its for a friend to paint his bubble car.

Been on there but which one is it?
I dont have a italian job blue car to compare it againist.

According to the brochure it is electric blue, so that makes the paint code according to the minicolours web site - JSA (BLVC997)

I did think island blue. But then i thought in the Italian job it was slightly darker.

I was always under the impression it was Island Blue..seems Mini restoration guide lists 2 codes for it though BU5 and BU8. We've sprayed one of ours the BU8 Island Blue
Saying that overlapping the two pictures, the film car does look darker but may just be different lighting

Italian Job blue car was painted Island blue so you guys are correct. However Jordies not asking this... so infact, I have no answer for him. Sorry

think Senile Old Git is correct as thats the colour i had in mind.
its the limited edition minis built in th 90s not the colour from the film.
