Behind the grille would be best. Duct the air towards it so it can't escape and make sure there's no obstruction to the air leaving it. It's the pressure differential that will cause the air to go through it.

i have had the engine running and its will need to be sorted out but to be honest i do not think that my mini specialist has even heard about megajolt let alone use it, i just measure along the slam panel and i would get a nice size intercooler in there if there was not any wires of dizzy in the way is it much work to fit megajolt? tryed doing a search on here and its come up with alot of not relative items
also are there any gains by fitting megajolt?

all wiring diagrams look messy to me i am trying to find a wiring diagram that i can really have a look at and see if i can make some sense out of it
